STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥擣ood, music, dance, games and other fun cultural activities await at 花秀直播 State鈥檚 29th annual International Fiesta. 聽
Sponsored by the Starkville World Neighbors Association and MSU鈥檚 Holmes Cultural Diversity Center, the Saturday [April 6] event takes place from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on the university鈥檚 historic Drill Field.
Campus organizations, clubs and departments will have displays and food booths. Various groups also will provide entertainment in the form of dancing, music performances and singing, as well as a fashion show.
Inflatables and cultural games are among activities that will be available for children.
Ra鈥橲heda Forbes, MSU鈥檚 assistant vice president for multicultural affairs, said she looks forward to the International Fiesta each year because it provides 鈥渁n opportunity to further knowledge and cultural capital in such a fun and exciting way.鈥
鈥淭his event also is a great opportunity to bring communities together to foster pride in the varying cultures and heritage that exists amongst our student body and surrounding cities,鈥 said Forbes, who also serves as the HCDC鈥檚 director. 鈥淭he bonds that are forged make the fiesta one of the greatest exchanges of relationships and experiences that we have on campus.鈥
