The purpose of the National Science Foundation's Major Research Instrumentation program is to increase access to multi-user scientific and engineering instrumentation for research and research training. This seminar will present details of the NSF funding mechanism and how to prepare an application, specific information about MSU's internal processes and timeline for applying to the opportunity, and also share best practices for ensuring potential applicants are informed so as to leverage all appropriate institutional assets to present a compelling and competitive proposal.

Who should attend? This workshop is suitable for faculty or staff members who are interested and may play a role in preparation of a proposal to the MRI opportunity. NSF places no restrictions on PI eligibility for this opportunity.聽
